This my story
Hello, my name is Eric Kraff, I'm 16 years old and I'm going for the world
record for the largest rubber band ball. My ball is currently 1005 pounds, 41 inches in height, 128 inches
in circumference and has approx. 60,000 rubber bands. I've gotten so into this that I even gave the ball a name, his name
is B.O.B. (ball of bands) I have been working on this attempt for about five years, yes I know that sounds long but in
the last 9 months I have put on more than 100 pounds. Just recently I was in my local newspaper, the Tampa Tribune and on
August 24, 2001 I was on the David letterman show. Please take look at the article in the web site and look at my picture
on the David Letterman show. I have recently got a donation of almost 1000 pounds of rubber bands from Textrip and Stretchwell
rubber band company of PA. Textrip is the factory in Sri Lanka. Special thanks to Textrip and Stretchwell and
David at Stretchwell. Some people ask "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS" I simply tell them it is fun and I love seeing the expressions
on peoples faces.
